the world is a nasty place. you either get your way, or you don't simple as that. some people will tell you that its possible to get something to go half your way, but that never happens. sassafras knew this first hand. she had never gotten her way. always wanted it, but never got it. right now was another time she was not getting her way.
sassafras squealed and kicked out at every equine she saw. her black colored auds were laced into her cream mane. her gray pelt had darkened a shade from her nervous sweating. her orbs rolled back until all was visible was her whites.
the percheron and mustang mix tugged against the three ropes that were fastened around her neck. each rope branched into two, each end grasped by a burly stallion. all of them were smaller then her eighteen point three hand height. the tallest one was only standing at sixteen point two. even though they were shorter then her, they were just as strong, if not slightly stronger.
the mare tugged backwards with all her strength as the six stallions tugged her towards the auction arena. the six stallion jeered at her as she tugged and fought to get away. one of the stallions, the largest of the six, dropped his rope and flicked his tail to make the other stallions stop. the one smirked and walked around the mare, staying out of reach of her hooves.
sassafras hissed and kicked out even though she knew she wouldn't hit him. her own tail flicked back and forth in agitation. a sweat scent filled the air as she did so. the stallion nearest her smiled. motioning to the other five, he quickly attached chains to her fore and back legs. sassafras screamed in frustration as the chains snapped into place. the stallion nuzzled the base of her tail and then snapped at what was hidden under it.
sassafras snapped her tail in his face and smirked when he hissed in pain. the stallion then picked up the rope he had dropped and snorted. waving his auds, he motioned the other five stallions forward. giving the rope a nasty tug, the six stallions dragged the mare the rest of the way into the auction arena.
come on now. any brave equine willing to give this pregnant dog a try, come forward and claim her. she such a pretty thing. he cooed the last words, striking up her temper. she is a girl of many talents. and she could be a good starter for your herd. his voice rang across the grounds, daring any foolish equine to come and claim the insane mare.

Serenity stepped forward as she heard the stag speak about the insane mare she gave the stags a crooked smile and took the ropes.If she made a run for it she would catch her and then she would be punished even more.Her eyes glowed defiantly waiting for the mare to speak as she dithered in the ropes.Serenity chuckled as she watched her struggle."Your with me noe"she said demanding her to follow.She knew this mare was going to a hooveful.

sassafras watched the mare step forwards after the stallion had spoke to the arena. she flattened her auds even more and snapped her ivories together. she tried to attack the mare, but the stallions held her back. she saw the mare give the stallion a crooked smile. sassafras hissed as he handed over the rope that he was holding. the remaining five stallions stepped back so that the mares could stare at each other. the stallion nodded and the others took their ropes off of her.
As soon as the stallions had gotten rid of their ropes, sassafras reared up. once she hit the ground, she took off running. the force of her take off was so strong, the rope snapped. whinnying, sassafras raced away from the gathering of equines. laughing, she spun around and glared at the stallion and the mare that had tried to claim her. rearing up once more, she raced away. once she was almost free, a burly stag knocked her to the ground. he set his fore hoof on her side to hold her down. she hissed and laid her dial on the dirt. their collision had knocked the breath out of her. |

"Lifes unfair isnt it/"Serenity sneered as the weird mare had tried to run away from her and all the others that kept the Auction Arena safe and made sure none of the slaves ran away or there would be no more to trade!"Get up"Serenity huffed as she tried to life the mare with her nose and the front part of her crown.

Sassafras hissed when she heard the mare's voice. Lifes unfair isn't it? The mare's words came out in a snear. Sassafras pinned her auds and snorted. She snapped her ivories on the stallions fore leg that was pinning her to the ground. She felt the mare nudging her and proding, trying to get her to stand.
Get off! she hissed, biting him again. This time, he let her up. Hissing, Sassafras stared at the mare in front of her. If you want me, your going to have to catch me pregnant dog. Rearing up, she snapped her fore daggers against the brute's temple, knocking him to the ground. Baring her ivories, she sprang forward from her rear, starting at a straight out gallop. Looking behind her, she glared at the mare with malice in her orbs.

Serenity hissed and tried to grab the mares mane with her teeth but that obbiously didnt work since she was running 1oo mile an hour!
Serenity ordered them to go get her and they raced off it was a race against time before the slave got away!

sassafras smirked when the mare tried to grab her, but was unable to. she let out gleeful laugh and kicked her running into over drive. she shot past all of the other equines, laughing in their faces as she passed by them.
the sound of hoof beats came from behind her, and the mare hissed in anger. gnashing her ivories together, she but on another burst of speed. the pursuers started to fall further back, and sassafras whinnied. she slowed down and bit and let the pursuers catch up to her a little bit. once they were almost close enough to getting her, she sped up and left them in the dust. |

Serenity knew she had top catch her and she was the fastest bvesides this mare.She reared and ran after her getting hot on her tail now she was one to laugh.She grabbed her tail hopfully bringing her down after the wild goose chase!

black legs churned against the dirt ground as the mare raced away from the arena. joyous sounds could be heard from her maw as she ran. she could run like this for hours and not get tired. she could even bump it up a notch and still have power left in her.
clouds of dust rose and settled again as the gray mare raced across the dusty ground. as she ran, sassafras heard her pursuers slowly drop away until she was running alone. looking over her shoulder, she saw no equine trying to follow. being wise, the mare slowed her pace just a bit, not wanting to waste any more energy then needed.
the sound of running equine reached her auds. furious, sassafras kicked up her heals a went back to the pace she had been at earlier. she could hear the breath of the other equine behind her. an angered hiss came from between her clenched ivories as the equine grabbed her whipcord. flicking it back and forth, she shook it from the maw of the pursuing equine. |

Artemis hissed as she kept her mouth full with Sassafrass's whipcord hoping to bring her down as she kicked up her heals she got Serenity in the face a few times but this didnt bother Serenity she just wanted the d**n mare to fall on her dumb ass!
